Move your DivTracker portfolio into Quantic
DivTracker exports one CSV row per transaction. Quantic recognises that file on sight and turns it into a trade ledger — no mapping step, and no account to connect.
DivTracker is a mobile dividend tracker rather than a broker, so nothing here involves a login or a bank connection: you export a CSV from the app and upload it. The file is one row per transaction — ticker, quantity, cost per share, date, and an optional commission — and Quantic knows that shape from its header, so it imports without asking you what a single column means.
What arrives is a trade ledger rather than a list of positions. Quantic reads buys and sells from the sign of the quantity, folds each commission into the cost basis instead of discarding it, and recomputes your holdings from the trades — so the average cost is derived rather than typed, and a correction to an old row flows through everything downstream. Columns are matched by name, so extra columns in a newer export are ignored rather than breaking the import.
The currency column is the one field Quantic deliberately overrules. DivTracker can write the currency you chose to read your portfolio in rather than the one the share actually trades in, and a price taken at face value under the wrong currency builds a position that is wrong by the exchange rate. So the listing currency wins: a US stock stays priced in dollars however your tracker displayed it.

In DivTracker, export your transactions as a CSV file.

Check the preview. Rows with no ticker, quantity, price or ISO date are listed as skipped rather than dropped quietly, and nothing is written until you confirm.

Bring your dividend history in separately — from a broker statement, or with Quantic's own fill-in template.
You are leaving a dividend tracker, and the dividends do not come with you: its export carries transactions only, so Quantic imports zero income rows from it whatever your history looks like. The DRIP column goes the same way — a reinvestment arrives as the purchase it was, which is right for the ledger but tells you nothing about the dividend that paid for it. And the file has no ISIN, so holdings are matched on ticker alone. That is the one identity that can go wrong: a company that changed its ticker, or two listings that share one, are worth checking once the import lands.
Key terms
- Trade-backed position
- A position built from your actual buys and sells, whether typed in or imported from a broker statement. The shares and average cost are calculated from those trades rather than entered directly — which is why you edit the trades, not the position. Commissions, splits and option assignments all fold in automatically.
- Cost basis (average cost)
- What you actually paid for the shares you hold, per share — the money you put in, including the commission, spread across your shares. Buying more at a different price moves it; selling doesn't, because selling doesn't change what the shares you kept cost you. It's the baseline your gain, your yield on cost and any future tax calculation are measured against.
- DRIP
- Dividend reinvestment: automatically using each dividend to buy more shares, compounding your income over time.
- ISIN
- The twelve-character code that identifies a security worldwide, regardless of which exchange it trades on or what ticker it uses there. Unlike a ticker, it doesn't change when a company renames itself — which is why an import identifies your holdings by ISIN where the file carries one, so a renamed company keeps its dividend history instead of splitting into two positions.
- Commission
- What your broker charges to execute a trade. It's small per trade but it's real money, and it counts as part of what the shares cost you — which is why Quantic records the commission on every trade it can read from your statement.
