Pro: which option is worth selling
Quantic already recorded the puts and calls you sold. It can now help you pick them. Every options screener sorts by the biggest premium, which reliably surfaces the shakiest companies — premium is the price of risk. This one ranks by company quality first and premium second, and then tells you what no options tool can: what a share would really cost you if you were assigned, and the yield on cost you would own at that price. On the calls side it flags a dividend going ex inside your contract — the usual reason a covered call gets exercised early. Where your broker's chain isn't available, type the price yourself and the maths is the same.

Pro: your tax year, assembled
Every dividend and every sale of a year, converted to euros at the ECB's official daily rate — a dividend at its pay date, a sale's cost and proceeds at their own. Sales are matched to purchases oldest first, and Spain's two-month rule is flagged where it bites. It computes no tax: it is the input to a declaration, and every gap is named rather than guessed. It's in beta — the dividends half works wherever you live, the sales half is modelled for Spain so far.

Prices update hourly now
Quantic used to refresh every four minutes, which is what a trading app does — and you are not trading. It now checks hourly, and still fetches a fresh price the moment you open a page. The other half matters more: if our data provider goes down, your portfolio shows the last prices we saw, dated, instead of going blank.

The screener leads with quality now
It used to sort by yield, which is how people find yield traps — the fattest yields belong to the companies the market has already marked down. It now opens on starting points like Safe & growing, ranks by our 0-10 read on the company, marks a yield in red when it looks like a trap, and says when you already hold something.

What your sales came to
Sell out of a position and it used to simply vanish. Now it moves to Closed positions on your portfolio page — with what the sale came to, how long you held it and what it paid you in dividends on the way. Gains and losses both, in the currency you traded in.

Spin-offs, done properly
When a company hands you shares in a business it's separating out, your original position gives up part of what you paid for it and the new shares receive it. Most tools skip that, so the new position looks like it cost nothing and the whole of an eventual sale reads as gain. You can now record a spin-off on the Movements page — or apply one straight from an IBKR statement, which fills in everything except the split itself. That number comes from the company, not from us, so Quantic asks for it rather than guessing.

The shape of your dividend year
The Dividends page now shows when your income arrives, not just how much: a month-by-month view of a typical year, your thinnest months named, and how much of the year lands in its three biggest. Set a monthly goal and it draws that too — measured net of withholding, since a goal is met by what reaches your account. The buy plan can rank to favour stocks that pay in the months you're light on.

A tour of how Quantic works
Twelve short steps covering what the app actually does, from your first holding to letting an AI read your portfolio — including the bits that trip people up, like what importing does to a position you typed in by hand. It's public, so you can send a step to someone rather than explaining it twice.

Stock splits, and honest gaps
You can now record a stock split from the Movements page — pick "Stock split" and give the ratio, and Quantic rescales your shares and cost together, leaving the position's value untouched. Alongside it, Quantic now tells you when a position's history looks incomplete instead of quietly assuming it isn't: an unrecorded split is the most common reason, and recording one clears the note.

Commissions now count in your cost
Quantic now reads the commission on every trade it imports, and counts it as part of what your shares cost — which is how cost basis is defined for tax almost everywhere. Your average cost may tick up slightly on positions where you paid commission; the shares themselves haven't changed. You can also enter a commission by hand when you record a trade.
